Camera: Panasonic DMC-LZ2 Project: shadows to depict form. The rule of thumb is always use the golden hours just after sunrise and just before sunset. This was taken at noon, and I personally like the harsh shadows.

I spent a career in left brain analysis (IT management). Now I'm trying to learn how to exercise my right hemisphere through photography. These examples are really for my study. The blog is open for comment.
One objective was to see if I could determine, though the photos I chose for this blog and my comments, just exactly where I am heading with all this. One "aha" is that the photograph itself is just a starting point for me; that I like using a digital darkroom to change the photo into something that I find more artistically pleasing.
